Instructions for Reporting Blight Information
This resource manages Lakeview blighted property only. Please do
not call or write about property in other areas of the city. Call your
local neighborhood association.
Email is the preferred method of contact
1. Tell us the address, name and contact info for the property owner.
2. Tell us your name and contact info.
We do
not have the resources to be able to respond to anyone that does not
leave the above information in their voice or
email message.
After you contact the LCIA, please make the second call to the City of
New Orleans. Only with their support and continued attention will we as
a neighborhood be able to effectively eliminate the blighted properties
in Lakeview. Feel free to call the city as many times as you like to report
blight. A call to 311 is logged and referred to the appropriate city
department. The more calls we make the more attention we will get from
this program to eradicate blight in Lakeview
