LCIA Zoning Committee Meeting re: ADUs

The Mayor and the City Council have asked the City Planning Commission to provide recommendations for amending the city's zoning regulations to allow for the creation of "Accessory Dwelling Units" ("ADUs") on new and existing residential properties.  An "ADU" is a separate residential unit that is located on the same lot as a single-family or two-family home.  

This proposed change would affect the entire city, including neighborhoods that are currently zoned for low density single-family residential use, such as Lakeview.

The LCIA Zoning Committee is meeting to discuss this issue on Saturday, March 5, at 10:00 a.m. on the 2nd Floor of Gulf Coast Bank.  

All LCIA members are invited to attend Saturday's meeting to learn more about ADUs and to provide input and feedback on this proposed zoning change.
